【Abstract】 In light of the operating characteristics of the converter-continuous casting a series of technical measures involving steady control of chemical composition and improvement in the cleanliness of the liquid steel, VD degassing, electric magnetic stirring and weak cooling have been taken to eliminate the surface crack, reduce the level and extent of hazardous effects caused by the central defects of the slab and check against the hidden troubles of the white spots on the slab. As the result the quality requirements for the heavy rail are satisfied.更多还原
