【Abstract】 It is urgent that we should make full use of the city moat in historical town in Jiangsu as a region and landscape resource in the process of urban construction. There are such problems through surveying and researching as following: single and fragemental space functional form, variable and evolutional inhabitation structure, scattered and orderless landscape system and deteriorative environment and ecology system.
