【Abstract】 The two- valenced and non- substantive - object verbs belong to a very special sub - category inChinese verbs. Each verb from this category has two inevitable arguments, one of which can be indicated semanticallyby this verb but by now means can occur in the place of the object pertaining to it. Tnis article sets the frame of crite-ria to identify this kind of verbs and sums up basic sentence pattems constituted by these verbs.
