【Abstract】 The present study explored the stages of professional growth of middle school teachers. The results showed that: 1)There were four stages in the professional growth of middle school teachers, which were apprentice stage, growing stage, reflective stage and expert stage; 2) Professional ability was the core component of teacher’s professional expertise; 3) Teacher’s professional growth didn’t display a process of linear ascent, in which stagnancy periods might exist.更多还原
