【Abstract】 The high pressure impregnation system is used to fully impregnate pitch into pores of dolomite-bricks, refractory or graphite electrode used in steel making after vacuum degassing of the impregnated products. The impregnating tank is the core of the system, which is designed as a horizontal unit and can be operated continuously. The system mainly consists of the impregnating tank, the storage tank, the preheating furnace and the cooling chamber with some associated parts or sections, such as the vacuum exhausting device, the pressurizing device, the heating and conveying devices for heat carrier or medium. The design and the application of the system marked the progress in the field of advanced impregnating technology in China.更多还原
