【Abstract】 In this paper, by using the concept of number average of functional group (?), the controlling equation of number average degree of polymerization (?)n = 1/[1-Pa((?)/ 2)] is deduced. This equation can be used easily to linear or netwook polycondensaton. In the mean time, with this method the ingredient of alkid resin is calculated.
