【摘要】 文章叙述了就电磁搅拌、二次冷却强度和中间包过热度对高碳钢小方坯的凝固组织和碳偏析的共同作用在伊斯帕特·西德贝克公司所进行的研究。研究发现:通常在电磁搅拌作用下生成的等轴晶结构由于冷却强度的增加而改变。V形偏析的延伸显著减少,细小的树枝晶结构在等轴晶排列中更加明显。提高冷却强度后,改善了1080钢小方坯及5.5mm线材的碳偏析。

【Abstract】 A study of the concurrent effects of electromagnetic starring, secondary cooling intensity and tundish superheat on solidification structure and carbon segregation is high carbon steel billets has been carried out at Ispat Sidbec Inc. It was found that the equiaxed structure commonly produced by EMS was modified by increased cooling intensity. The extent of the V-segregation in the equiaxed structure was markedly reduced and fine branched dendritic structure became more pronounced in the equiaxed matrix. Increasing the colling intensity improved carbon segregation in billedt and 5.5 mm wire rod of 1080 steel.
