【Abstract】 During the development of market economy and the emergence of civic society in China, the growth of societal intermediary organization is an inevitable choice. This paper suggests that the roles of civic organization in societal transition can be summarized as follows: It’ s the third force between government and private sector and can coordinate the relationship between the individual and government. At present, however, the growth of civic organization in China faces such problems as non-independency, incomplete function, insufficiency in numbers, and institutional chaos. It is therefore an urgent affair to regulate and standardize the relationship between government and civic organization so as to facilitate the development of social intermediary organization.更多还原
