【Abstract】 Xianglinsao (Sisterinlaw Xianglin) in the article Blessing is a tragic figure. Academic circles have always been thinking that her tragedy was caused by feudal propriety. Such an understanding is correct to a certain extent, but too general. Through analyzing and carding again, we have reached a more concrete and brand new conclusion: Sisterinlaw Xianglin was a victim of evil folkways and bad customs.
