石油焦活性炭在乙二醇合成中的应用
Study on Application of Active Carbon Made from Residuum in Preparation of Ethylene Glycol
【摘要】 研究了表面化学改性石油焦活性炭在环氧乙烷催化水合制备乙二醇反应中的应用,考察了催化剂表面化学改性条件和水合反应条件对催化活性和乙二醇选择性的影响。研究表明,表面化学改性石油焦活性炭是环氧乙烷水合制备乙二醇反应的有效催化剂,在初步的优化条件下,环氧乙烷的转化率、乙二醇的选择性均在95%以上。
【Abstract】 The catalysis of active carbon from residuum with chemically modified surface in the hydration of ethylene oxide (EO) to ethylene glycol (EG) was studied.Effects of surface chemical modification conditions and hydration conditions on conversion of EO and selectivity of EG were investigated.The results showed that residuum active carbon with chemically modified surface was an effective catalyst for the hydration of EO to EG. Under proper conditions,both the conversion of EO and the selectivity of EG could reach 95%.
