坡地槟榔根系调查研究
Investigation on Roots of the Betel Nuts in Slopeland
【摘要】 槟榔目前为台湾收益优势作物 ,在利之所趋情况下继续入侵山坡地已不可避免 ,因此槟榔对水土保持影响成一热门课题。诸多因子中根系对水土保持影响为重要参考资料 ,探讨槟榔根系中根系分布、根型、根密度以做为了解槟榔根系对土壤抗剪力研究之用 ,经选定台中大坑地区槟榔园试验 ,结论如下 :(1)槟榔为浅根系 ,无论上下坡其根数及根断面积均集中于 0~ 5 0 cm间 ,根数均以下坡数多于上坡 ,根直径则随深度之增加而递减。根直径介于0 .1~ 2 0 .5 mm间 ,根系横向扩展亦不高 ,大约介于 30~ 10 0 cm,横向扩展随土深而增加 ,无明显主根 ,根型如团网型 (Massive type)。 (2 )槟榔根系无论于各土层深度分布均以细根及小根所占比例最高 ,显见槟榔小径根特多 ,无法分辨明显主根 ,由于根力与根面积比呈正比 ,过多之小径根直接影响根力 ,因此槟榔根力将因小径根所占比例过高而降低根力。 (3)槟榔根系密度介于 2 .4 0 3× 10 - 4~ 9.791× 10 - 4,其中下坡断面根系密度分别为上坡断根系密度 2 .7倍及 1.2倍
【Abstract】 The Betel Nuts are located at Ta Kan in Taichung,central Taiwan.The results obtained are summarized as following:(1)According to classification, the Betel Nuts root system is shallow root system. And the number of roots concentrate in 50 cm,top of soil. The diameter of roots are from 0.1 mm to 20.5 mm,and decrease with depth of soil. Apparently, roots system of the Betel Nuts has no main roots. The type of roots is classified as "Massive type".(2)According to measurement,fine roots and small roots have the highest proportion of the roots system. It is confirmed that the strength of roots of the Betel Nuts will be reduced because of that.(3)Densities of roots of the Betel Nuts distribute from 2.403 ×10 4 to 9.791× 10 4 for samples.The densities of roots in downhill are higher from 1.2 times to 2.7 times than in uphill.
