【Abstract】 Copper is an essential element for living organism, and transporting copper to copper -dependent proteins is a basic requirement for normal cellular metabolism. Copper chaperones play an important role in cellular function of copper , they not only protect the cell from harmful effect of free copper, but also ensure that copper can reach its specific target protein.Here we discuss the cellular function , structural properties of copper chaperone and possible mechanism for copper transfer.更多还原
