【Abstract】 The Three Gorges project will be the biggest water control project in the world and a great cause throughout the ages for the Chinese nation. With the construction progress, the outlook of the dam has reached the design targets and the dam has rested stably on the Yangtze river. By the end of November 200l, a total of 4l8000 people had removed out from the reservoir area. In 200l, RMB 5.27 billion was put into the transmission and distributionworks for the Three Gorges project. The China Three Gorges Project Corporation (CTGPC), as the owner of theGezhouba and Three Gorges projects and facing the opportunities for development of cascade hydro projects along theupstream reach of the Yangtze river, has totally favorable conditions to be formed a first-rate leading hydro utility inthe world.更多还原
