【摘要】 弹性分组环(RPR)是一种全新、高效的城域网(MAN)和城域接入网解决方案,它利用空分复用、统计复用和保护环提高了带宽的利用率,实现了节点对网络资源的公平利用,同时还支持业务分级(SLA)以及即插即用等特性,RPR打破了局域网与广域网的接入瓶颈。RPR的关键技术涉及网络结构与协议分层、基本MAC协议、流量控制、业务等级支持与带宽管理、拓扑自动识别以及保护倒换机制等方面,RPR的标准制订工作还在进行当中。更多还原

【Abstract】 Resilience Packet Ring(RPR)is a new high -efficiency solution for MAN and metro area ac cess nework.It uses space-divi-sion multi plex ing,statistics multiplexing and protec tion ring to improve bandwidth utility.It can re alize the equitable utilization of network re sources.It can also support SLA and plug-and-play.RPR breaks the bottleneck be tween LAN and WAN.The key technologies in RPR are network architecture and protocol layer,basic MAC proto col,flow control,service level sup port,band width management,automatic topol-ogy identifica tion and protection switch system.The standard for RPR is still under study.更多还原
