【Abstract】 CBR(case-based reasoning) is a reasoning method that demands traditional experiences and solves the new case by memory structures. A CBR system was used for evaluating the manufacturing cost of injection mould. Case indexing, case retrieval, case adaptation, case learning and neural network are all the emphasis. A comprehensive costs model considering mould manufacturing costs, tax expenses, general administrative costs and design fees was discussed.
