【Abstract】 The wrongly informed romantic love of Lin Hui-ying and Xu Zhi-mo proved to the unrequited love by the latter > And Lin Hui-ying had all along kept sincere friendship with Xu Zhi-mo and many her contemporaries such as Chern Dai-sun, Xie Bin-ying, Chen Yi as well as Fei Wei-mei, her intimate friend negated ythe romance of the two.In 1920s when Xu was heaping his passionate affection on Lin, a letter from the latter’ s father was a direct evidence for denying the romance. Other proof includes Lin’ s letters to Shen Cong-wen and Hu Shi and her memories on overseas life in Britain.更多还原
