基于Mallat小波变换算法的ASIC设计
ASIC DESIGN FOR THE WAVELET TRANSFORM BASED ON MALLAT’S ALGORITHM
【摘要】 在计算机视觉学方面 ,小波变换已经成为一个强有力的工具 .但是小波变换计算量大 ,而且用常规的计算机软件编程难以达到实时处理能力 .用VHDL语言按照自顶向下的设计方法 ,给出了ASIC硬核 .其行为和门级网表具有足够的计算能力 ,可以满足视频的实时处理要求
【Abstract】 In computer vision field, wavelet transforms have become a very powerful tool, whereas they are computationally very intensive and real time processing cannot be achieved with a conventional computer’s software programming. An ASIC hard core using VHDL is synthesizwd by a top down design methodocogy.It has been proved that its behavioral and gate level netlist provide enough computational ability to meet video real time demands.
