【Abstract】 The article introduces Prof. Wang’ s expe rience on the treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NC) after radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Prof. Wang considered that the consumption of body fluid, damage of spleen and stomach and impairment of qi and blood are the pathological characteristics of NC, so that supporting healthy qi, benefiting qi and promoting generation of body fluid are the therapeutic principles available. The methods include nourishing yin and clearing heat, pro moting production of fluid and moistening dryness, strengthening the spleen and regulating the stomach, ex pelling damp and relieving vomiting, and benefiting qi and tonifying blood.
