【Abstract】 Many difficult problems have appeared in IPv4 during the rapid development of Internet. These problems include the shortage of IP addresses, the explosion of routing tables, lower safety and inflexible mobility. So a new generation Internet protocol named IPv6 has provided some new mechanism to solve these problems.
