【Abstract】 F. Scott Fitzgerald is one of the most important American writers in the 20th century. In this paper, It’ s analysed that Catsby, the typical hem of the Jazz Age, is connected closely with the Franklin’s spirit. This kind of close connection shows the origin of Gatsby, the hem in the fitzgerald’s finest novel--The Great Gatsby--and makes Gatsby a more typical hero not only in the Jazz Age but also beyond the jazz Age.更多还原
