二极管侧泵浦高效率连续波10W单横模激光器
Study on diode-laser side-pumped CW 10W TEM00 laser
【摘要】 对二极管激光器侧泵浦 Nd:YAG板条连续波激光器进行了优化设计 ,用光线追迹的方法计算增益介质内的增益分布 ,优化增益介质的大小 ,通过谐振腔的设计 ,使泵浦体积与激光的 TEM0 0模的模体积匹配 ;建立了高效可靠的连续波 Nd:YAG激光器 ,用 4 0 W的线阵激光器作泵浦源 ,单横模输出功率达 1 1 .8W,光 -光效率近 30 % ,激光功率起伏小于 1 .2 %
【Abstract】 The optimal pump and resonator configurations can be determined before the laser is built. A ray-tracing algorithm is used to determine the pump-absorption, and the mode-coupling efficiencies to specific transverse modes are calculated. The diode laser side-pumped CW Nd:YAG slab is studied as CW 40W pumped sourse. Over 11.8W single transverse mode power output is achieved. The optical-optical efficiency is about 30%. The instability of the output laser is less than 1.2%.
