【摘要】 在数字图书馆建设中 ,元数据是组织信息的基本工具。本文详细介绍了元数据的格式、级别及类型 ,探讨了元数据在数字图书馆中的应用 ,并就在数字图书馆建设中的有关问题提出了建议

【Abstract】 The paper introduces the formats of metadata,levels of metadata and types of metadata,discusses the application of metadata in digital libraries,puts forward some suggestions.
