【Abstract】 The author extends a warm welcome to the proposal of reshooting the TV play A Dream of Red Mansions and he also restates his critical views, made by himself 15 years ago, of the play taken by CCTV. It is believed to him that the cause of dissatisfaction from the audienu with CCTV edition was the wrong strategy adopted by the director who was misled by the fact that some certain academic authories on A Dream of Red Mansions worshiped bindly Cao Xueqin and had a strong bias against Gao E.Therefore this article advocates that the bias should be rooted out in reshooting the TV play, ie, the play script is supposed to be based on the original novel with 120 chapters (Cheng Edition) .Thus, it will contribute largely to making it into a classicas Chinese Tragedy which rivals with Remeo & Juliet更多还原
