【摘要】 影响因子作为评价期刊的重要依据 ,是期刊被引证情况的定量表示 ,总体上能够反映期刊的相对影响。但是把它作为期刊评价的唯一衡量标准 ,也有其不足之处。本文通过对 1998年中国社会科学期刊影响因子排名的定性定量分析 ,阐述其存在的弊病 ,并分析影响社会科学期刊影响因子测评的诸多因素。最后还提出一些改进意见 ,诸如 ,采用以影响因子为主的多种指标体系 ,对于半衰期不同的期刊选取不同年限的影响因子指标等更多还原

【Abstract】 As an important basis for assessing academic periodicals, impact factor is considered as a quantitative expression of citation status of periodicals and an objective reflection of the relative influence of periodicals. But as the unique criterion, it has some defects yet. In this paper, such defects are addressed through qualitative and quantitative analysis of the impact factor ranking of the social science periodicals of 1998 in China. Also analyzed are some factors influencing impact factor assessment of SSPs. Finally, some advice for improvement is advanced such as adopting multi-index system with impact factor as the chief standard, and for periodicals with different half-lives, selecting impact factor index of different years.更多还原
