【Abstract】 A functional model of manufacturing execution system (MES) suitable for discrete manufacturing enterprises is presented. Based on domain requirements and domain knowledges, the analysis in MES is made. The components of MES are designed by object oriented analysis (OOA) & object oriented design (OOD) and construction from extracted objects based on design pattern, which assured the reusability, flexibility, and expansibility of MES. The solution based on CORBA and MIDAS is adopted for the implementation of MES. MES increases the efficiency of development. Experimental result shows that MES based on CORBA is extensible, configurable, and feasible to be integrated.更多还原
