【Abstract】 Preserving old trees and ancient wood structures are important areas of wood preservation. Non destructive evaluation (NDE) is a new technology being applied to this field. This paper investigates the application of NDE technology into the evaluation of the safety of ancient wood structures as well as the determination of the health of old trees in China. This paper discusses the major uses, common techniques and types of equipment used when using NDE technology in wood preservation applications.更多还原
