【Abstract】 The technology of electric arc spraying rapid mold making is one of the new fields that develops rather quickly over the past decades. It has been paid particular attention because of its advantages such as higher quality of coating, higher efficiency, lower wastage and easier operational properties and so on. In this paper, the principle, characteristics and application of electric arc spraying rapid mold making are introduced.
