【Abstract】 In the historical development of universities, there emerged varieties of ideas of the university and training pat-terns of graduate. In this paper, we discuss the connotations of idea of the university and training pattern of graduate, and analyze the advancement of training pattern of graduate caused by the historical development of ideas of the university.
