【Abstract】 Based on two stages of GPS data during 2000 and 2001 in the Urumqi area and other data, recent strain field in Urumqi and the horizontal movements of the faults in monitoring region were analyzed. The result shows that the whole crust of the Urumqi area is mainly effected by principal compressive stress in NW direction, and the majority of GPS stations in Urumqi monitoring region are clockwise moving taking Hongshan observation station in Urumqi as center.更多还原
