甜椒雄性不育两用系AB91的选育及利用

【摘要】 利用在英格拜尔甜椒中发现的甜椒雄性不育源,采用杂交、自交、测交、兄妹交等方法,选育出雄性不育性与优良农艺性状、抗病性、高配合力高度统一的甜椒雄性不育两用系AB91,并且利用AB91选育出早、中、晚熟配套的系列甜椒杂交品种,解决了我国甜椒一代杂种种子生产人工去雄的难题。利用AB91生产一代杂种,田间易于鉴别拔除可育株,简化了杂交制种程序,大大降低了杂交制种难度和成本,并可保证杂种种子纯度。AB91的不育性由一对隐性核基因控制,其遗传简单、不育性稳定、转育和选育方法简便、育成时间短、恢复源广泛、配合力高、可较快地培育出不同类型的优良一代杂种,因此,应用前景极其广阔。

【Abstract】 The genic male sterile line AB91 was selected and bred by using a male sterile plant of sweet pepper discovered in the field through means of cross,self-cross,testcross and successive backcross. It has stable sterility with fine horticultural characters,good tolerance to diseases and high combining ability. A series of F1 hybrid varieties of sweet pepper were bred by crossing the genic male sterile line AB91 with inbred lines. The results showed that the genie male sterile line is controlled by one pair of recessive gene. Its sterility is stable and may be easily transferred and its restorers are widespread. The genie male sterile line AB91 has a higher utilization value.
