【Abstract】 Physical and chemical factors affecting androgenesis and embryoid occurence and development were studied carefully, and anther culture technology of sweet (hot)pepper was perfected into a technology with high practical value. By means of this technology,more than ten hundreds of haploid plantlets of sweet pepper were produced directly from the pollen-embryoids within a year. Seven sweet pepper and hot pepper varieties and 6 sweet pepper hybrids have been developed,among them,4 varieties and 6 hybrids have been widely planted all over the country. According to the seeds produced and sold,the total cultivated areas of these varieties might reach about 162,000 hectares from 1986 to 2000.更多还原
