三元配合物体系光度法测定微量铜

【Abstract】 A ternary complex system of Cu(Ⅰ) SCN - RhB in the presence of PVA is used for the photometric determination of micro amounts of copper. In an acidic solution containing H 2SO 4 and H 3PO 4, Cu(Ⅰ) reacts with SCN - to form [Cu(SCN) 3] 2- which reacts further with rhodamine B forming an insoluble ion associated complex [Cu(SCN) 3]·RhB. Polyvinyl alcohol is added as a protective colloid to keep the associated complex in solution. The absorption maxima of the complex in solution lies at 595nm with a molar absorptivity ( ε ) of 1.84×10 5L·mol -1 ·cm -1 . An average RSD of 3.4% is found for 5μg of copper(Ⅰ) ( n =6). This method has been used in the analysis of aluminum alloys.
