吸烟对国人血清对氧磷酶活性的影响

【摘要】 目的 :分析吸烟对中国人对氧磷酶 (PON)活性的影响。方法 :36 7例冠心病患者和 15 9例相匹配的健康人根据吸烟情况分别分为吸烟、不吸烟及戒烟 (A、B、C) 3个组 ,其中C组又根据戒烟时间长短分为C1、C2、C33个亚组 ,并分别用醋酸苯酯法检测各自的PON活性。结果 :吸烟降低了PON活性 [A组、B组、C组PON活性分别为 (91± 5 8)、(131± 73)、(112± 6 6 )kU /L ,P <0 .0 5 ],但其影响是较短时期的 ,PON活性的恢复与戒烟时间存在相关性。结论 :吸烟是冠心病的高危因素 ,其发病机制之一可能与它降低了PON的活性有关。

【Abstract】 Objective: To study the effect of smoking on serum paroxonase activity in Chinese. Method: Five hundred and twenty-six subjects were investigated including 367 people with coronary heart disease and 159 normal individuals .The subjects were divided into 3 groups according to their smoking status :A, smokers; B, nonsmokers: C, former smokers but had stopped smoking for variable length of time. Activity of serum paroxonase was determined by method using phenylacetate as substrate of the enzyme. Result: Activity of serum paroxonase is highest in group B(nonsmokers) and lowest in group A(smokers). Reduced activity was noted in group C. The serum level of paroxonase in group C varied in accordance with the length of time in stopping smoke. Complete recovery to the normal level was observed after quitting smoke for two years. Conclusion: Smoking is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Our study shows the harmful effect of smoking may partly be related to the fact that smoking reduces serum paroxonase activity.
