【Abstract】 An introduction to process industry, process engineering and process sciences is reported. Process industry is defined as the industry which brings mass to transform on large-scale, esp. by chemical reaction. Process sciences, which came from "transfer theory of momentum, mass and energy" and "chemical reaction engineering", play a pivotal role in developing process engineering.
