【Abstract】 For understanding the climatic and environmental changes in Barrow （71°20′N,156°40′W） area,Alaskan.9 lake cores with depth of 100～350 cm were taken by piston corer in this area. Based upon the analyses and measurements of ²¹⁰Pb,¹³⁷Cs,TOC,TN, organic materials,CaCO₃,grain size and pollen of core 98-4B,climatic and environmental records since the Little Ice Age at Barrow were reconstructed.In the past 400 years,three main warm periods occurred at 1540～1600 AD,1760～1730 AD and 1880～1992 AD,and three cold period at 1440～1520 AD,1610～1650 AD and 1750～1850 AD.The Barrow lake core record is compatible with three main cold-warm conditions since the Little Ice Age deduced from ice cores from Camp Century,Greenland and Guliya,Tibetan study although there exist differences in high frequent climatic changes among these areas.更多还原
