【Abstract】 A new species of genus Prozercon Sellnick, 1943, P. changbaiensis collected from Changbai Mountain, Jilin Province, is described and the genus is reported for the first time from China. The type specimens are preserved in College of Plant Protection, Shenyang Agricultural University. Prozercon changbaiensis, sp. nov. (Figs.1,2) Adult Female: Idiosoma eggshaped, 316μm～332μm in length,224μm～248μm in width. Notocephale with fine irregular reticulated sculpture and 19 pairs of setae, of which i 1～i 3 s 1～s 5 and r 1～r 7 feathered but i 4～i 6 and z 1～z 2 smooth and simple. Notogaster with 23 pairs of setae, i.e . I 1～I 6, Z 1～Z 5,S 1～S 4 and R 1～R 8, all feathered. I 1～I 4 relatively coarse. R 1-8 the same as r 1-7 . Distance of I 1～Z 1 equals Z 1～S 1. Distances of I 1, I 2, I 3 and I 4, respectively equal and about the length of setae itself. Z 2 closer to Z 1 but more apart from Z 3. Distance of Z 2～Z 3 equals Z 3～Z 4. Po3 above the line between bases of I 5 and Z 4. Peritreme plate with 2 setae. P 1 with elongate base, feathered; P 2 simple and smooth. Paragynial plates small, post laterally to the genital plate. Diagnosis: The new species closely resembles Prozercon ornatus (Berlese,1904), but can be distinguished by the following characters: 1) peritreme plate seta P 1 is feathered while in P.ornatus that is smooth; 2) notocephale setae i 4～i 6 and z 1～z 2 are smooth while in P. ornatus that only i 5 is smooth; 3) notogaster setae S and Z stand clear in two longitudinal lines and Po3 locates at inner side of Z 4, while in P.ornatus the setae S and Z are mixed and Po3 locates on the line between bases of Z 3 and Z 4 and closer to the base of seta Z 3.更多还原
