【Abstract】 The division of the history of ASEAN is based on the following elements: the actual content of the inter-regimal cooperation of ASEAN, the important of events happended in ASEAN, the development of the organization of ASEAN and the great changes of the situation inside and outside of ASEAN. The more than 30 years history of ASEAN can be divided into 3 stages: the prelimilary stage, the development stage and the mature stage.
