【Abstract】 The punch velocity plays a very important role in the process of sheet metal forming simulation. It has a deep effect to the calculation precision and speed of stamping simulation. It researched a stamping simulation of typical part and the effects of different punch velocities on the result of the simulation in order to get a thorough knowledge of its effect on simulation.
