【Abstract】 In this paper, we studied writer has expounded the necessity and the possibility of implementing a rapid design system for the automobile frame, and also clarified the system structure, working process, achieving method and the key technology of rapid design system through its practices. With its application, the developing cycle can be shortened to a half as compared with conventional methods, and at the same time the cooperative working ability between different departments can be greatly enhanced.
