【Abstract】 This paper introduces the basic concept, research development ,correlating technology of Virtual Reality, and its application in scientific computing visualization ,fire safety design and education of fire protection . The paper also discusses some problems such as selection of hardware, software design ,realization of several users’ enlisting, selection of fire model when building a Fire Virtual Reality System.
