【Abstract】 The most important problems of implementation of database sharing in heterogeneous distributed database system are database conversion and database accessing. There are two common methods to implement database accessing. One is common application program interface, and another is professional database gateway. Using JDBC accessing heterogeneous distributed database system is based on API. The paper bats around the principium of JDBC.
