【Abstract】 Sometimes the COMMON variables in the Fortran program are used to make repeated use of the memory space. It brings difficulty to the partition and the distribution of the data. We present the concept of the lifetime of the data. The unnecessary-memory-reuse COMMON variable can be recognized and processed correctly by computing the exposed set of the array.
