【Abstract】 On the basis of analyzing the problems of traditional search engines, this article introduces metasearch engine, a new tool using multiple search engines simultaneously according to a same query. Metasearch engine has evolved from the traditional search engine technology. This article explains its structure and composition in details, compares it with the existing metasearch tools completely and evaluates its searching efficiency thoroughly. The results show that the metasearch engine performs better than the traditional tools in internet resource searching.更多还原
