【Abstract】 The introduction of the two concepts, main attribute and marginal attribute, can benefit our understanding about the traits of cities. We can use them to define the cities’ internal traits, judge their evolutional states and patterns, so we can completely and exactly understand the individual characters of cities’ evolution.
