食管癌中VEGF的表达及与MVD相关性研究
Expression of VEGF and the relationship between VEGF and MVD in esophageal carcinoma
【摘要】 目的 探讨食管癌中血管内皮生长因子 (VEGF)的表达 ,微血管生成及其与临床病理参数间的关系。方法 采用S P免疫组织化学染色法检测 5 9例食管癌及 2 0例正常食管粘膜组织中VEGF的表达 ,并对血管进行Ⅷ因子相关抗原的免疫组织化学染色 ,计数微血管密度 (MVD)。结果 5 9例食管癌中VEGF表达阳性率为 81.36 % ,MVD为 41.81± 8.44 ,显著高于正常食管粘膜组织VEGF的表达率及MVD(2 0 % ;12 .13± 2 .81;P <0 .0 1)。VEGF的表达和微血管密度与食管癌的病理分级、淋巴结转移相关 ,而与肿瘤的浸润深度无关 ,并且VEGF表达阳性食管癌组织的MVD显著高于VEGF表达阴性者 (P <0 .0 5 )。随着VEGF表达强度的增强 ,癌组织内微血管密度明显增高。结论 VEGF与食管癌组织的生长和转移有关 ,食管癌组织VEGF检测可作为食管癌预后的一个有用指标 ,并可能成为食管癌临床生物治疗的参考指标
【Abstract】 Objective To evaluate the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and angiogenesis in esophageal carcinoma and the relationship between them and clinicopathologic factors.Methods S-P immunohistochemical method was used to examine VEGF expression and MVD in 59 cases of esophageal carcinoma and 20 cases of normal esophageal mucosas. Results The positive rate of VEGF(81.36%) and MVD (41.81±8.44) in esophageal carcinoma were both higher than those in normal esophageal mucosas(23.33%,12.13±2.81) respectively. The difference was significant (P<0.01). The expression of VEGF and MVD were closely related to tumor’s pathological grade, lymphatic metastasis, but not related to tumor’s invasion depth. The average MVD was higher in the cases with positive expression of VEGF than those without expression of VEGF (P<0.05).Conclusion VEGF is positively correlated with the growth, progression and lymphatic metastasis of esophageal carcinoma. Quantification of VEGF in esophageal carcinoma may provide a valuable marker for prognosis and biological treatment of patients with esophageal carcinoma.
