【Abstract】 Padimate O is used widely for sunburn protection and cosmetic ultraviolet sunscreen. It is synthesized from 4 ( N, N dimethylamino) benzoic acid and 2 ethylhex anol, catalyzed by a mixture of Zn Ti compounds.
