【Abstract】 Triclosan is a kind of bactericides that has found applications in hygiene and health. Synthesis of triclosan from 2,4-Dichlorophenol and 2,5-Dichloro-nitrobenzene usually involves etherization, reduction of nitro group, diazotization and hydrolysis.
