【Abstract】 In order to improve the comprehensive properties of rolled steel, increase output and productivity, controlled cooling technology was introduced by medium plate mill of Jinan Iron & Steel company. The characteristics of the water curtain cooling model, controlled cooling model and its computer system were analyzed according to the practical application condition.
