【摘要】 邹代钧(1854-1908年),晚清著名的地理学家、地图学家及地理学教育家。早年出使欧洲。1895年春夏间,他独资创办了中国近代第一个地理学学术团体———译印西文地图公会(简称地图公会,后改称舆地学会)。这个团体主要的任务是译绘出版各种地图,采取发行股票的方式经营,存在期间共出版了七百多张地图,在中国首次采用了烂铜版法印刷地图,使中国出现了彩色制图,对地图的出版水平、地理知识的普及与地名学的发展起着很大的作用,促进了中国地理学从传统的舆地学向近代地理学发展。本文就邹代钧的生平与舆地学会的经营活动等方面,分析邹代钧对中国近代地理学发展的影响。更多还原

【Abstract】 Zou Daijun, a famous geographer, cartographer and geographic educator of late Qing, was once an attaché to Europe. In 1895, he established the first geography research institution of China -- Geography Society. This institution was managed by issuing stocks. Its major task was to print all kinds of maps. During thirteen years, it had printed more than 700 maps, and some maps were printed by the method of "lantong", which made color maps. All of these had a great effect on the printing level of maps, popularity of geographic knowledge and the development of loponomy. This paper will focus on the management and activities of Geography Society established by Zou Daijun and analyze Zou’s influence upon the development of Chinese modern geography.更多还原
