GEOLOGICAL TRAITS OF CASSITERITE - SULFIDE DEPOSIT OF TIESHANPING AT LINWU AND ITS SIGNIFICANCE ON EXPLORING DEPOSITS
【Abstract】 Cassiterite - sulfide deposit of Tieshanping at Linwu, located in Xianghualing multi-metal mine, belongs to nervation tin-deposit of fracture-filled and replacement type. There were two types of tin veins, which were strictly controlled by northeast and northwest fractures of fragmental rock of Tiaomajian Group Devonian Series and limestone of Qiziqiao Group. Cassiterite - sulfide veins No.4 was about 2,500m long and 500m wide, with average grade Sn 0.36 %, and the highest grade Sn 1.36 %. The shape of mineral veins was the same as ore-bearing fractures. The ore body occurring in Qiziqiao Group was especial striped rock with interphase shade of color, and was an unusual industrial Sn-ore. It can direct exploring Sn deposit in south Hunan.
